Herbed Artisan Bread

Well, I’ve made my second batch of dough from the ‘Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes‘ book. I followed the base recipe again, added in some rosemary and thyme like the authors suggest as an alternative but I also decided to add some whole wheat flour.

Mixed-Berry Cornmeal Cobbler

I milled popcorn kernels to make fresh, whole-grain cornmeal and used whole-wheat pastry flour instead of all-purpose. It turned out pretty good, the grainy quality of the cornmeal added a nice texture to the berries.
